Features & Specifications Of The Wagner Flexio 590
The Wagner Flexio 590 Paint Sprayer is a professional-grade sprayer that will help you paint your home or office in record time. This paint sprayer has been designed for professionals and DIYers alike, with many features that make it easy to use.
Whether you are painting the outside of your house or the inside walls, this paint sprayer will make it easier than ever before. With an adjustable pressure dial on the handle, you can control how much pressure is used when spraying different surfaces.
The gun also comes with a hose brush which makes cleaning up after finishing as easy as 1-2-3!
Now that we’ve gone through the pros and cons, it’s time to take a look at the key features of this paint sprayer.
iSpray Nozzle flexio 590
One of the highlights of this sprayer is its wagner control speed nozzle. It uses the iSpray nozzle, which gives the paint sprayer an incredible amount of flexibility. This nozzle allows you to use a wide variety of patterns and painting styles.
Having this allows for more control over the finish max you want. Anybody experienced with paint sprayers knows that the more you can adjust the nozzle, the more precise you can be with your spraying.
This makes the flexio 590 a great sprayer for anyone who plans on doing a lot of DIY projects as you can accomplish so much with this workhorse.
Power Dial flexio 590
The main reason this sprayer works so well is that you can control adjust the settings down to the T. Aside from the nozzle, it’s also the power dial that allows you to do control this.
This model flexio 590 comes with the patented X-Boost Power Dial which allows you to control adjust the air speed pressure coming from the motor.
When you first turn it on, the power is automatically set to max. From that setting, you can slowly lower it until you reach the desired pressure.
Stronger pressure will give you material flow smaller droplets which can give you a very smooth finish while low pressure results in big droplets and a rough finish.
Having this much flexibility helped me out a lot when I was doing a lot of work on the house. It allowed me to choose the exact type of finish I wanted, and in the end, I was able to paint all the surfaces I planned to do and I was so happy with the result, I couldn’t wait to start another paint job!
Design flexio 590
Another thing that attracted me to this sprayer was the design. Since I wasn’t planning on doing an industrial spraying job, I didn’t need a huge paint sprayer with a wheeled cart. All I needed was something I could hold in my hand and use with ease.
That’s exactly how the Wagner Flexio 590 is designed. Everything can be held in your hand as the nozzle, power dial, and even the paint reservoir are all placed directly on the hand-held sprayer.
This made painting very convenient for me.
That being said, the build quality could be better. Since it’s a relatively inexpensive sprayer, I wasn’t expecting too much when it came to the build. There are a lot of plastic components to this sprayer, but since it was so affordable, I couldn’t complain too much.
It’s also pretty bulky at 10 lbs and has a short power cord. But taking occasional breaks from spraying and bringing an extension cord solved all those problems.
What Do Users Say About The Wagner 590?
The Wagner Flexio 590 has received fantastic reviews.
Many people report that this product is easy to use, even for beginners. They also prefer it over other brands because it’s light and well constructed.
Another thing users liked about the Flexio 590 is its quiet operation. It doesn’t make much noise when in use, which allows you to concentrate on the task at hand without disturbance. This brings us nicely to perhaps its most extensive selling point — convenience.
It lets you finish large painting projects right in your own home without having to worry about finding a suitable paint sprayer shop or hiring a professional right away.
You can do it all by yourself! Of course, there are always some downsides. One customer complained about the cup size, which is a bit small.
Another reviewer mentioned that this unit doesn’t have a lot of power for more significant projects. In general, though, most users are delighted with their purchase and recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-use paint sprayer at a reasonable price.
Verdict: What Other People Say About This Product The Wagner Flexio 590 has received mostly positive reviews from real customers who vouch for its reliability and ease of use. It’s lightweight – only 2.11 pounds – making it easier to maneuver around while painting walls or other more significant areas.
It also comes with two different types of nozzles (wide and narrow). The Wagner Flexio 590 is one of the most popular sprayers on the market today. Not because it’s cheap but because it’s a very reliable unit that will get you through your projects without any problems.
What Can I Use This Sprayer For?
This sprayer is designed for a bunch of home DIY projects. If you plan to paint a room, change the color of a wall, or even paint a deck, this sprayer will have you covered. It can even spray unthinned paint, which saves a lot of time.
However, if you plan to use this sprayer for large projects, you might be let down. This sprayer can do a lot, but it’s not designed for painting an entire house.
However, if you plan on doing detailing, it can do it very well as the adjustable nozzle can help you finish in those pesky details.
Instructions for Set Up and Use Wagner flexio 590 paint sprayer
Use these instructions to set up your wagner flexio 590 and get started painting.
When Your wagner flexio 590 is New
Remove the handle from the carton. Remove the label from the spray tip. If necessary, attach paint tip assembly to the air cap with two screws. Attach air cap and tighten securely with an attached wrench (see illustration). Fill the Tank with desired paint product.
For best results, use a high-quality acrylic latex exterior house paint or latex interior enamel (water clean-up) (do not use oil-based paints or stains)—push tab on power cord wire connector to release the wire from powerhead receptacle.
Plug-in wire connector into any 120 volts grounded electrical outlet. The power switch should be turned “ON.” Turn off and unplug Flexio when not in use.
Filling the Tank Do not remove the tank cap until paint is thinned and ready to spray. It is essential to follow the manufacturer’s instructions from the color can label for thinning of paint before pouring, if necessary (not all colors need to be thinned).
Fill Tank with the recommended amount of water or water-based paint product up to fill line located on the Tank side (see filing instructions illustration below). Gently agitate mixture in Tank before each use to ensure proper mixing.
Oils do not need thinning, but it is strongly recommended that you pre-mix oil-based products with a small amount of water (up to 10% by volume) before transferring them into your Flexio Spray Tank
This will allow you to control the thinning process better and prevent any problems with clogged spray tips.
Fill Tank With Water Only Do not fill Tank with any other type of liquid when using wagner flexio 590 paint sprayer. Do not use gasoline, kerosene, or lacquer thinner for cleaning paint from tip assembly or in your Flexio Spray Tank.
Use only water-based products (latex exterior house paint or latex interior enamel) inside wagner flexio 590 because they are less dense than oil-based paints and do not usually clog the nozzle if appropriately used.
You must clean your sprayer after use with soap and warm water as instructed below to avoid blocking the nozzle with dried particles left behind from using oil-based products (contact manufacturer if you have any questions about this).
Filling Instructions Note that Flexio has a relatively long power cord. This allows you to fill the Tank indoors and then move Flexio out to the job site for use without locating an electrical outlet. Just plug into an outdoor grounded 120-volt electrical outlet when ready to start spraying.
How To Use The Wagner Flexio 590 Paint Sprayer?
Step 1: Prepare the sprayer by following the instructions in your manual to ensure that all components are correctly assembled and screwed into place. Also, check if you need to change any parts depending on what paint you will be using (i.e., thinners, brushes, etc.).
Step 2: Once everything is set up, put some paint directly from the can into the cup – do not thin it. This means no thinning with water or other chemicals. You can now start painting! Keep in mind that you might need several coats and multiple passes over an area until you achieve an even finish.
Step 3: Clean up is effortless. Wipe down any excess paint with paper towels or rags, and unplug the power cord. Let the unit dry for about half an hour before putting it away. And don’t forget to cover it with its lid so that you can prevent dust from getting stuck inside!
How To Spray with a wagner flexio 590 paint sprayer
Select spray tip Cleaning Tip: Use only water or a water-based cleaner or solvent on the cleaning pad directly under the air cap.
Paint Tip: Use a small paintbrush to remove dust from all openings in the air cap and air tube assembly before starting your painting project, including around where the air
cap attaches to the air tube. Use a different paintbrush for each opening, such as where paint enters the sprayer’s air cap from the air tube assembly. Never use stiff wire or other sharp objects for cleaning inside Flexio (they can damage internal parts).
The flip-up wide section of the power switch and turn the dial to desired spray pattern (see chart below.
Turn on and pull the trigger slowly until the tip is primed and the nozzle begins spraying. Release trigger gradually while keeping pressure on paint handle to reduce overspray while you finish your painting project.
Keep at least one foot away from the surface being painted when spraying so that airflow does not cause dusting or splattering of previously sprayed areas. 5)When finished painting, turn off the sprayer and clean the nozzle as explained below.
How To Clean Spray Tip
Hold Flexio upside down so that the air cap is up and all paint has been sprayed out of the nozzle while keeping the trigger handle in position when it is time to clean the tip. Release trigger gradually while maintaining pressure on paint handle to reduce overspray.
Disconnect power cord wire from supply receptacle by pushing the tab on wire connector and pulling apart connectors.
Unscrew air tube assembly completely from paint cup assembly, removing cleaning pad in the process (see arrow for location of cleaning pad).
Note how two O-rings are now visible at the bottom of the paint cup, attaching to the air tube assembly.
Screw new O-ring onto threads on paint cup and screw air tube assembly back onto paint cup (see arrow for location of O-rings).
Place a new cleaning pad in the opening where the paint tube attaches the top air cap.
Screw air cap back onto sprayer, then place power cord wire into connector and press together until tab on wire connector locks connection securely (see arrow for location of power switch wire).

Other Customer Reviews
Before settling on this sprayer, I had to check out what other customers thought. And I was happy to discover that a lot of them were pleased with the sprayer.
Some people complained that this sprayer isn’t the right one if you plan to do large outdoor, but that isn’t what it’s designed for anyway.
On the other hand, those who used this sprayer for a variety of small indoor couldn’t be more satisfied. They were very happy with the finish they were able to get with this sprayer, even though there was a slight learning curve to getting the finish just right.
All in all, this is a very well-received product. Customers were pleased with its affordability and flexibility but also pointed out that this is far from an industrial, professional-level sprayer.
What Is the Difference Between the Wagner Flexio 570 and 590?
The Flexio 570 requires you to thin the paints before applying. This means that you will need to use specific products (e.g., Floetrol ). The Flexio 590, on the other hand, doesn’t require any thinning. The paint goes directly into the sprayer and comes out in optimal condition – ready to be applied!
Can I Use Dense Materials With Wagner Flexio 590?
Absolutely! The Flexio 590 is capable of spraying unthinned paints. This means that latex, varnish, etc., can all be used on this sprayer.
How Do You Clean the Wagner Flexio 590?
You should clean the unit after every use. Wipe it down with a paper towel soaked in water and soap (diluted in water). Make sure you remove any excess paint residue to avoid clogging.
Also, make sure you remove any leftover paint from your car’s nozzle before storing it away. If necessary, you can also soak your gun in warm soapy water for 30 minutes to get rid of stubborn stains more easily. Once you are done cleaning it, make sure you let the sprayer air dry for a few minutes before storing it.
Painting & Spraying Projects Made Easy
The Wagner Flexio 590 makes painting and staining projects quick and easy – even for novices! It comes with two different nozzle sizes (narrow and wide), making it more versatile than other paint sprayers.
With this affordable model, you will be able to reach every nook and cranny, thanks to its onboard cord storage. Whether you are painting your walls or staining your deck, this product is guaranteed to provide you with the best results.
Since this paint sprayer does not require thinning, it’s recommended for latex, varnish, primer, and stain (unthinned).
You can also use oil-based paints; however, make sure to check if they are compatible with its hose/gun before starting your project, whether you want to repaint the interior or exterior of your home – even that hard-to-reach closet!
Finish off that woodworking project in your garage; the Wagner Flexio 590 makes painting enjoyable again.
What Is the Power Output of the Wagner Flexio 590?
The Wagner Flexio 590 is a small unit that runs on electricity. Its power output is 110 watts.
Is the Wagner Flexio 590 Easy to Use?
Yes, it is! The whole process of setting up and using this sprayer couldn’t be more straightforward. Assembling the parts is quick and painless, but make sure you read your manual first to avoid missing any critical steps. Once everything is set up, plug in the machine and start painting/ staining!
Also, keep in mind that cleaning is just as easy: once you are done with your project, unplug the device and wipe it down with some warm soapy water (no chemicals required), letting it dry for half an hour before putting it away.
Can I Use the Wagner 590 Paint Sprayer to Paint a Ceiling?
While the Wagner Flexio 590 is versatile, it’s best that you use this product for smaller paint jobs so, if you’re planning to paint your bedroom ceiling – or even just one section of it! – I would recommend either getting someone else to help you out or using an extension pole with a roller.
What Is the Wattage of the Wagner 0529010 Flexio 590?
The Flexio 590 is an electric paint sprayer that releases about 550 watts.
Can I Use the Wagner 590 Paint Sprayer to Stain?
Yes, you can! If it’s an oil-based varnish or stain that you want to use for a woodworking project at home, make sure to check if they are compatible with this device.
Also, keep in mind that even though the Flexio 590 does not require thinning of liquids, you will still need a container filled with some mineral spirits.
This means no paints thinner! Before starting, make sure the material you’re using is compatible with the hose/gun and other parts of this product. If everything looks good, begin painting, and voila! You’ll have a great-looking project in no time!
What Is the Air Pressure for the Wagner Flexio 590?
The paint sprayer uses air pressure between 50 and 90 psi. For more information, check out your user manual.
Is There Any Assembly Required for the Wagner 0529010 Flexio 590?
Yes, but it’s pretty easy! Most of the assembly process involves tightening screws and other small parts. However, if you’re not sure how to go about doing this, make sure first to watch videos that show step-by-step instructions.
Your manual also contains all kinds of helpful information related to using your product and its maintenance.
The Wagner Flexio 590 was a great choice for me. It was able to help me accomplish a bunch of different paint jobs within the house.
It doesn’t seem like the best choice for bigger projects as it’s a simple handheld sprayer that shouldn’t be used for those kinds of jobs anyway.
But if you’re looking for an affordable, easy to use, and flexible paint sprayer for a set of DIY projects in your home, this could be the pick for you.
